Pittsburgh Steelers' Salute our Heroes
On November 2, 2023, the Pittsburgh Steelers hosted the Tennessee Titans. In anticipation of Veterans Day, the game was called the Salute to Service with many special moments to honor and include those currently serving in the military as well as veterans. In a special tribute during the 3rd quarter, FOPFH Board Member Judge Mike McCarthy was featured as the Salute our Heroes veteran of the game. Judge McCarthy's daughters accompanied him on field where he was presented with a plaque as well as surprised by Rocky Bleier, former Pittsburgh Steeler, Army veteran, and long-time friend of the Judge.
